The ColorWorks CW-C6500Pe extends Epson’s range in order to meet the needs of small to medium batch customers across many sectors (food, chemical, beverage, manufacturing etc.)

Overview

Media Flexibility
The CW-C6500Pe benefits from a wealth of new features that are designed to provide practical and creative solutions. It supports media widths, from 25.4mm to 215.9mm and boasts expanded media support which even includes textured paper. In practical terms, this range of ColorWorks label printers can print anything from tiny labels for vaping liquid bottles, to large durable labels that are suitable for chemical drums. Also, the innovative movable sensor allows printing on any shape, without the need for a 2nd die cut.

Compact and easy to use
The CW-C6500Pe has been designed to be extremely user friendly. All operations can be carried out from the front, which saves on operation space. The roll replacement is possible from the front, right and left. We’ve also designed a number of technical tools to help with printer management, configuration and maintenance, including web interface and printer fleet management, remote configuration, maintenance and monitoring.

Print quality
This label printer offers high quality, high resolution, four-colour print output as standard; along with colour matching functionality (ICC profile and spot colour matching tool) for impressive, impactful, on-demand colour labels.

Easy integration
All models in the range are integration-friendly. SAP direct support, ESC Label, Linux and Mac drivers.

Epson ColorWorks CW-6500Pe 8” Color Label Printer with Peel-and-Present

New to the Epson ColorWorks family, the Epson CW-6500P inkjet colour label printer prints 8-inch labels and comes with a peeler. The Epson ColorWorks CW-6500Pe colour inkjet label printer features Epson’s Serial PrecisionCore technology and prints durable, full-colour labels (including GHS BS5609 labels) at a print resolution of up to 1200dpi. The Epson CW-6500P colour label printer is designed as an upgrade to traditional black-only thermal transfer printers and will be available January 1 2020.

With both remote printer management features and broad middleware compatibility (including SAP and ZPL II) the Epson CW-C6500P colour label printer is meant to replace black-only thermal printers.

  • Remote Printer Management – The Epson CW-C6500P colour label printer includes a variety of remote printer management tools so IT and support personnel can remotely deploy updates, monitor printer status, and more.
  • Broad Compatibility – The Epson ColorWorks CW-C6500P colour label printer is compatible with Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems as well as a broad range of middleware, interface languages, and command extensions (ESC/Label, ZPL II, SAP, and more).
  • Applicator I/O Control Port – This port allows for automated workflows while the printer’s media handling capabilities, connectivity, and fast print speeds provide for a seamless transition.
  • Peel-and-Present – The Epson ColorWorks CW-C6500P colour label printer comes with an integrated peeler for print-and-apply labelling applications.
  • Image Quality – Powered by Epson’s Serial PrecisionCore technology, the Epson CW-C6500P colour label printer produces crisp, full-colour barcodes and text up to 1200dpi with a huge gamut of accurate colours, fine image details, and smooth graduations.
  • GHS BS5609 Label Printing – Print your own GHS BS5609 chemical drum labels with the Epson CW-C6500P colour label printer and BS5609-certified labels.
